CARE commits $130M to work towards SDG5: gender equality
10 Million women and girls will be supported by the global confederation working to fight poverty in 104 countries through Village Savings and Loans Savings Groups as part of a global strategy to transform gender dynamics and achieve gender equality. CARE applauds the convening of the Generation Equality Forum (GEF) in Paris, and as one of the organizations leading one of the “Action Coalitions” during the forum, is making bold commitments towards a future of gender equality by 2030
