Call 4 Social Innovators: Making ideas happen

FabriQ, the incubator for social innovation of the City of Milan, launches its first “Call 4 Social Innovators”, targeted at individuals or teams made up of a maximum of 3 people. Social innovators will be offered a six-month work experience in the incubator.

FabriQ, the incubator for social innovation of the City of Milan, launches its first “Call 4 Social Innovators”. The call is targeted at individuals or teams made up of a maximum of 3 people, as well as to profit and non profit legal entities. Social innovators will be offered a six-month work experience in the incubator.

FabriQ is an incubator managed as of 2013 by Giacomo Brodolini Foundation and Impact Hub Milano.
Among the incubator’s strategic objectives there are: help the city of Milan solve social innovation challenges, contribute to developing the suburb of Quarto Oggiaro, in the north west of Milan, start new enterprises, create social impact in the metropolitan area of Milan and support entrepreneurship.

In order to apply to the call, candidates must present a project aiming at developing FabriQ, during their six month work experience in the incubator. The team of FabriQ will select a maximum of 3 projects based on three criteria: economic sustainability of the project, social impact and expertise of the team.

Deadline to apply to the call is 9 October 2016. From 24 October to 11 November selected candidates will start working on the projects in the incubator.

Among projects that can apply to the call there are: implementing innovative projects supporting the activities of the incubator, developing a project helping the inhabitants and the territory of the Quarto Oggiaro suburb, Milan, carrying out a project to decorate the incubator, supporting the strategy and managing the incubator’s communication.
