Community Fund supports projects of Italian non profit organisations operating at local level. Aviva, one of the European leaders in the insurance sector, has launched the initiative.

Aviva, one of the European leaders in the insurance sector, has been operating in Italy since 1921, where it has now launched Community Fund, a fund supporting local Italian non profit organisations operating in communities.

Anyone who is directly involved in a non profit organisation or who cares about the causes supported by an organisation can propose a project, by accessing the website: https://community-fund-italia.aviva.com and filling in the candidacy form.

As Louis Roussille, Marketing, Communication and Digital Director of Aviva in Italy observes:
“Italian society still revolves a lot around small communities; those where, even when resources are scarse, the good will and generosity of people make a difference."

Aviva wants to offer a concrete help to all those organisations, be they big or small, who operate in local communities, to protect and promote health, help infants, young people and women.

18 donations to support small and big projects , with amounts of 3,000, 7,000 and 10,000 euros are available.

Now it is possible to access the website and to vote for the projects.

The most voted projects will get into the final: a jury will establish the winner for each of the 18 donations, evaluating the projects based on different criteria , such as the impact on the community, sustainability and originality.

Winners will be announced on the 6th of April 2016.
