EYD2015 Civil Society Alliance is organizing a session within the conference “Responsibility to Act: Engaging in innovative partnerships to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) framework” on 9 December at 9 – 12 a.m. in the University of Luxembourg. The objective is to bring together CSOs, European policy-makers, and representatives of the EU institutions to discuss the lessons learned throughout the year and the future of the Civil Society and its partnerships.

Opening remarks will be given by Seamus Jefferson, Director of CONCORD, and Marius Wanders, EYD2015 Civil Society Ambassador. The session will focus on the Policy recommendations as a result of common work of the CS Alliance and the main outcome of the European Year for Development 2015. The legacy of the inclusive partnership created during the year and the work that could be done in the future will be discussed in the interactive debate. 17 European projects, supported through the EYD2015 sub-granting mechanism, will be presented by projection of a collaborative video.
