Month of the Social and Solidarity Economy
France - http://www.lemois-ess.orgEvery year since 2008 the month of November is an opportunity for French enterprises of the Social and Solidarity Economy to let as many people as possible know about another way to conceive economy, through more than 2000 different events all over the country.
In France, every year since 2008, the 26 Regional Chambers of Social and Solidarity Economy (CRESS) coordinated by the French National Council of CRESS (CNCRES) organise and celebrate the Month of the Social and Solidarity Economy.
2000 different events, such as debates, workshops, conferences, forums, markets,screenings of films and much more take place everywhere in France during the month tof November to let as many people as possible know about social and solidarity economy, another way to conceive economy, an economy “that makes sense”.
The Month of the Social and Solidarity Economy, this year in its 8th edition, is an important opportunity for Social and Solidarity Economy actors, like cooperatives, associations, foundations and social enterprises, to increase their visibility among their partners, institutions, the general public, and to let people know about their activities and projects.
