The Agence du Don en Nature (Adn) collects new non-food unsold products from enterprises and it redistributes them to the most needy thanks to a network of more than 750 local associations in France. Every year the Adn contributes to help 850.000 people in need and redistributes every week more than 600.000 euros of new products

9 million people live under the poverty threshold in France. 3 millions of them are children. At the same time, thousands of new non-food products are thrown away every year.

The Agence du Don en Nature collects new non-food unsold products from enterprises and it redistributes them to the most needy thanks to a network of more than 750 local associations in France. These associations, local actors in the struggle against exclusion, ensure, in the name and on behalf of the Agence du Don en Nature, the redistribution of the products to the most disadvantaged people.

Every year the Adn contributes to help 850.000 people in need and redistributes every week more than 600.000 euros of new products, necessary to live with dignity.

“Wash oneself, have clean clothes, and utensils to prepare to eat, or new pens to attend school is living with dignity” , as you can read on the website of Adn. That continues: “All this concerns about 9 million people living under the poverty threshold in France, deprived of a series of basic commodities, essential to social inclusion, and to dignity. Besides ensuring nutrition and accommodation, it is necessary to ensure personal care, facilitate families’ daily life and school attendance”.

Therefore the aim of the organisation is allowing these people to feel again part of the society through having access to the greatest diversity of new and quality products. The aim is also to offer them more self-confidence.

The Agence du Don en Nature has built a bridge, that was missing before, between enterprises and associations dealing with people in difficulty.

As a matter of fact “in France every year enterprises are forced to destroy 600 million euros of new products, in all sectors, from personal care, to the textile sector, to small electrical appliances “ , you can read on the website of the organisation. These products that are no more part of the channels of commerce are often destroyed at the end of the production chain. However these new and quality products could benefit about 9 million people living under the poverty threshold in France: 3 million children, 600.000 single mothers, 3 million occasional workers…

“The Agence du Don en Nature allows to give a second life to unsold products to distribute them to the most needy. It’s circular economy at the service of the most needy people”
