Enil lauches the 5th May campain by asking its members and supporters why Independent Living mean for them.
Why?
Because raising awareness on Independent Living and human rights is vital! With this campaign we can all show why Independent Living is so important for us, for our families, friends and for the society. The result of this can be even circulated to a higher (decision-making) level. So, the goal is that our voice as individuals/CILs will reach to Europe and why not to the whole World.
How?
Every one of you is invited to download this document, print it, write what Independent Living means to you (there is not right or wrong thing to write), take a photo of yourself holding it and finally send it to us to this email address: kamilious@gmail.com . If you want, you can also post it on the social media with the hashtag #ENILILDAY and invite your friends to actively participate in this campaign, so hopefully we can achieve a big domino effect.

All the collected photo-messages will be bundled and given to the European Commission to show the need for a right on Independent Living for all disabled Europeans. On 5th May ENIL will release a video (slide show) with a selection of some of the photos and will do a public action with them in Brussels.
