Aviva, one of the European leaders in the insurance sector, which has been operating in Italy since 1921, has announced the Italian winners of the Community Fund, a fund supporting local non profit organisations operating in communities.

The winning associations have received donations from 3,000 to 10,000 euros in order to support big and small projects.
Each organisation has nominated a project in one of the following three categories: health, infants and young people, and women.

After an online voting phase open to everyone, a jury has established the winners, evaluating the projects based on different criteria , such as the impact on the community, sustainability and originality.

As Louis Roussille, Marketing, Communication and Digital Director of Aviva in Italy observes:
“We are very satisfied with the success of Aviva Community Fund, an initiative that has fascinated the whole of Italy, with over 550 nominated projects, more than 130,000 registered ​users to the website and over 1,200,000 votes. It is a clear sign of how much non profit associations are important to Italians and of the precious role they have. At Aviva we are really happy to have given a contribution to those who devote time and commitment to their own community”.
